They kinda’ scared me at first because they look like snakes or lizards. They were short, about 4 foot tall and had a yellowish brown skin color. I remember how I felt when I saw the bluish light coming through the bedroom wall. It was a feeling of total calmness and peace you know the feeling when we were children waking up in the morning without a care in the world. I only felt panic just before I blacked out it was as if they were protecting me from what was happening. Even when I saw them, my first thought was they mean me no harm. So yes, I can understand that governments would not want it known because they would lose the control they have over us. Jeff, I was really emotional when I read how much you connect with God. My feelings are the same. I cannot begin to imagine how loving and powerful he is. It is just a feeling of knowing it. I too was brought up in a fundamental church. They seemed to think that only themselves and a few others would get to heaven. They were only twenty or so and I used to imagine them rattling around up there on their own. I read a blog spot about you and listened to an interview you gave about your experiences and family history. I particularly liked your comment: "which we are the designers and helpers, not mud
workers of more of the same". I come from a line of peace seekers, the English translation being "spirit wrestlers" (nothing as interesting as your story), so I am always interested in another's point of view as to how the world is taking shape. I happened onto your site as I look for answers to my experiences, none as dramatic as yours though. I agree with you that we must make the leap technologically and environmentally in order to be accepted into a universal community. Unfortunately the average Joe has very little input or sway which
the big boys have. As a result, we wallow around in the muck and mire looking for ways to dig ourselves out of the caves.
Do I sound pessimistic? Not really, just a bit of impatience with the lack of movement and my desire to move forward as the world turns. Sometimes, I find it hard being odd man out, looking for people to learn from, and having feet in two different worlds. I think my siblings feel much the same. One of the last problems is the competition and ego of people in ufology. Many have a piece of the puzzle and think they have the whole puzzle. They are threatened by anyone else that might have more of thepuzzle than they do. There is an attachment to position rather than the truth.

I tried suggesting to the head reps at DP to some kind of poll at the end of the show, or some way for people to ring in or email during the show - dont think that's what Jennings, etc. have in mind. We can guess what they have in mind. Dr Greer will be appearing on it, I dont know if they will show any of the 2001 Press Conf - if they don’t, its obvious that this is another attempt to reinvent their square wheel. As ever, at the end of the day, the fight will come back to us friends. Bring it on; ) Some radical means of advetising wouldn't go amiss... What's the chances of getting together a mass of people to do a public picket on this issue? Thousands of ufologists about--imagine if we could get enough of us together in the same time at the same place--that type of thing is likely to attract media attention. I feel we can't endure another 50 yrs of ignorance. Peace friends.
